Navya Gedela is an MSc researcher within the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. She is an awardee of ICAR-NTS-PGS (National Talent Scholarship).

Navya completed her undergraduate degree in Foods and Nutrition and is now currently doing research on spiritual intelligence and its impact on stress and resilience. My other research areas of interest include mental health of children, behavioural problems, child protection issues and parent education.

She is a  blogger and very much interested in writing articles which enlighten the people on the ongoing concerned issues. She received certificates of completion from UNICEF for the courses like disaster management, parenting concerns, malnutrition, prevention of child abuse etc. She received a participation certificate from Harvard Medical School for enduring material titled ‘Ethical and psychosocial issues in the management of COVID-19‘.

She participated in many national webinars related to COVID-19.  Navya completed a MOOC course on ‘Psychology of learning’ and received a course completion certificate from ICAR-NAARM. Her programme ‘Problems and Consequences of Obesity’ was aired in All India Radio. She participated in India’s largest digital career guidance conference and received a world book of records participation certificate. She is an inter-university ball badminton captain and inter-university shuttle badminton player and won several times at university level.
